Week of March 24, 2014
Low, roiling clouds stopped me dead in my tracks as I walked out the door near sundown. I couldn’t help but stare at the shifting scene above. Occasional punctuation came in the form of a violet-red flash, followed several seconds later by an unsteady rumble. Ephemeral patterns of light and dark, a gentle but determined wind, and (literal) electricity in the air add some welcome intensity to simple tasks like walking to the the store.
