Image(s) of the Year

Based solely on views from 2014, here are the top 3 (okay, 4) Images of the Week from last year:

1. Fade Away

Fade Away

The top image of the year tells me that people like the moon, or superimposed images, or a windy exposition, or seeing things that they slept through. Check out the (cough) harrowing tale of this photo here.

2. Fire and Ice

This one cheats a little by including two photos in the same post, but what can I do? I’m just following the stats. Check out the original post.

3 (Tied). Sunbow & Vulpina

Who doesn’t like a good light show or a bit of lichen? These came in with the exact same number of views in 2014.

Now, there a few confounding variables that keep me from drawing sweeping conclusions about the likes and dislikes of people who view this blog. I value your input when it comes to improving in photography and nature-story telling. Do you agree with my site stats? Let me know!

Many more to come in 2015.
